Case Mix: Trauma, Acute Care Surgery

Support Staff: PA/NPs: 2

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: No
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible
Licenses: Licensed in AR
Certifications: ATLS
Experience: Acute care surgery experience required
Other Qualifications: Proficiency in Epic EMR

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide on-call coverage for acute care surgery and trauma
Perform emergency department consultations and urgent surgeries
Manage trauma cases, including both operative and non-operative management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient care
Maintain continuous coverage while permanent recruitment is ongoing
