Job Description:

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology - Required

Experience:

• 6 Months acute care Surgical Technologist experience OR Completion of a Surgical Technician Internship - Required

Certifications/Licensures:

• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Certification - Required

• CST - Certified Surgery Technologist - Preferred

Skills:

• Knowledgeable in sterile technique and the principles of aseptic practice - Required

• Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude required.

• Maintains professional and personal integrity.

• A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict timelines.
