The Surveillance Supervisor plays a critical role in safeguarding the integrity, security, and operational excellence of Live! Casino & Hotel by leading a team of Surveillance professionals dedicated to protecting guests, team members, and company assets. Your ability to oversee real‑time monitoring, enforce regulatory and internal control standards, and guide team members with clarity and professionalism ensures a safe, compliant, and fair gaming environment. Through vigilant observation, decisive leadership, and a commitment to upholding the highest levels of accountability, you help maintain a trustworthy atmosphere that reflects the values and expectations of the Live! brand.









Responsibilities






Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Observe all activities of guest and team members on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via the closed-circuit television system for criminal activities and/or violation of the state lottery and gaming commission regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Observe areas of the casino, atrium, and parking areas for safety hazards to ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
  • Operate monitor room equipment.
  • Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
  • Supervises department team members on procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the team members and guests.
  • Assist in scheduling and training of staff.
  • Thorough working knowledge of all Table Games.
  • Thorough working knowledge of all gaming and non-gaming departments.
  • Report all violations and suspicious activity to management.
  • Review surveillance department actions, personnel, and processes with Surveillance Management.
  • Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  • Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
  • Must be able to read/write in the English language.
  • Excellent customer service skills.








Qualifications






Must Haves:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) year’s work experience in casino surveillance with at least two (2) years as a Supervisor or above.
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a confined space with low lighting.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30lbs.
  • Must have excellent vision and hearing.
  • Must be able to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
  • Stand and walk 30% of the time
  • Use of stairs and elevators

Working Conditions:

  • 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
