Sushi Runner

Brentwood Country Club is seeking a dependable, energetic Sushi Runner to join our food & beverage team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment and takes pride in providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sushi and food orders from the kitchen to members and guests promptly and accurately.
• Ensure food is presented properly and meets the club’s service standards.
• Assist servers and sushi staff with maintaining an organized and efficient service area.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
• Clear and reset tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout service areas.
• Provide friendly, professional service to members and guests.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and club procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, country club, hospitality, or food-service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Professional, positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry food and dishes.
• Must be available for some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience required.
• Servsafe Certification
• RBS Training certification

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Frequent bending, stooping, pulling/pushing.
