Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-5 years experience as a Switch Technician or related position

• Experience in switch operations and maintenance

• Familiarity with Nortel, Nokia, and/or Ericsson switch nodes

• GSM knowledge and/or experience (helpful)

• Equivalent of Associate’s degree in electronics technology

• Two-four years experience in wireless telecommunications

• The flexibility to work alternating shifts and weekends

• Outstanding communication skills

• A knack for grace under pressure

Qualifications

Individual must have familiarity with Ethernet and Ethernet Testing, demonstrate skills associated with Cell Site Router Comissioning and Fault Isolation. Familiarity with Tellabs 5500 DACS is also required.
