\n\nPosition: System ED Float RN\n\nDepartment: Premier Nursing Float Pool\n\nFacility: Emergency Department - All Facilities \u0026 Freestanding ED\u0027s\n\nShift: Full-time Days 7:00am-7:30pm/ 72 Hours Per Pay\n\n \n\nThe Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentry. The RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards. The Premier System Float Level 1 \u2013 Acuity Specific RN System-wide Float rotates to acuity specific units to subsidize staffing shortages as needed enterprise-wide.\n\n \n\n \n\n \nEducation \nMinimum Level of Education Required: Diploma Program \nAdditional requirements: \n\u25aa Type of degree: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing \n\u25aa Area of study or major: Nursing \n\u25aa Preferred educational qualifications: BSN Preferred \n\u25aa Position specific testing requirement: N/A \n \n\nLicensure/Certification/Registration \n\u25aa Valid Ohio RN license \n\u25aa Current CPR certification required at the time of hire. \n \n\nExperience \nMinimum Level of Experience Required: One year of experience working in an emergency department setting as an RN \nPrior job title or occupational experience: N/A \nPrior specific functional responsibilities: N/A \nPreferred experience: N/A \nOther experience requirements: Recent Acuity Specific experience within an acute care setting required.\n
