Responsible for managing the wide-area and local area computer networks

• Establish and maintain network users, user environment, directories, and security
• Respond to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs
• Remain abreast of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements
• Monitor and administer the network, keeping system information up-to-date in a network log
• Administer synergy program and provide training to users
• Update the operating system as required
• Load and update software applications as required
• Manage memory usage of the network, network printing, and network technical resources
• Maintain a backup of all files, security, and rights
