Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $74,800 to $112,200.   The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements.  We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future.  Actual compensation will be based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, and other factors permitted by law. The Talent Acquisition Operations (TA Ops) Specialist is a key member of the U.S. Talent Acquisition Operations team, supporting Boehringer’s broader talent acquisition strategy and delivery. This role plays a critical part in optimizing processes, enhancing candidate and stakeholder experiences, and driving operational excellence across TA programs and systems.

The TA Ops Specialist partners closely with Talent Acquisition leaders, recruiters, HR stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable hiring operations. This role requires a blend of operational execution, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement mindset.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve key Talent Acquisition processes, including pre-employment clearance, referral program administration, and service delivery workflows.


• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce cycle times, and improve quality and consistency across TA operations.


• Develop, document, and maintain standardized work instructions and process documentation; ensure TA knowledge base (SharePoint) is intuitive, current, and scalable.


• Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of TA tools, systems, and workflows.


• Partner with the AD, TA Shared Services & Operations to support strategic initiatives, projects, and cross-functional programs that enhance TA effectiveness.


• Contribute to operational planning by providing insights, identifying trends, and recommending improvements in the drive process efficiency using automation.


• Support TA data integrity, auditing, and compliance initiatives across systems and processes.


• Act as a subject matter expert on TA systems, providing guidance and troubleshooting support to stakeholders.


• Manage and respond to inquiries within TA service mailboxes, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality support.


• Manage the pre-employment vendor and clearance process for U.S. hires, partnering with recruiters, Legal, and external vendors to ensure compliance and efficiency.


• Support US job rotation and Perm recruitment process.


• Provide backup support for new hire orientation and onboarding activities as needed.


• Partner with TA Operations team to develop and deliver training, resources, and communications for TA stakeholders.


• Support adoption of new tools, processes, and best practices across the TA organization.


• Support recruiting capacity demands by managing overflow requisitions, including candidate screening and full-cycle recruitment activities across diverse business areas, while ensuring adherence to established recruitment processes and service standards.

Requirements

• Two- (2) or four- (4) year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience.


• Experience working within Talent Acquisition or HR Operations (preferred).


• Experience with full life cycle recruitment (preferred).


• Proven experience working on a team in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to prioritize work and manage deliverables and timelines independently.


• Project Management experience.


• Experience using Microsoft tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate to support process efficiency (preferred).

• Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).


• Must be 18 years of age or older.
