A Talent Acquisition Specialist position is available at Garney. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key part in building our team of skilled water & wastewater treatment professionals. You will source, identify, and attract qualified candidates for a variety of exciting positions across the industry.
Foundational Experience: 0–2 years of experience in recruitment, human resources, or general administrative support
Sourcing Interest & Aptitude: Eagerness or baseline experience in sourcing and identifying qualified candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and databases
Understanding of Hiring Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of recruitment life cycle processes, sourcing techniques, and industry best practices
Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills
Organization & Time Management: Ability to stay organized, work independently with guidance, and handle multiple coordination tasks simultaneously
Tech-Savviness: Familiarity or quick adaptability with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR software, and modern collaboration tools
Flexibility: Openness to occasional travel for career fairs, university recruiting, or company events
