Tax Manager

The client is looking for dynamic Tax Managers to join our growing Tax practice in Atlanta.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review tax returns of varying complexities
• Delegating tax preparation and research to staff (as appropriate)
• Prepare complex business income tax returns
• Tax consulting and projections
• Assuming client service responsibility
• Developing staff members

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; master's degree in taxation preferred
• Current CPA license required
• 4 -7 years experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns in a public accounting firm
• Minimum of one (1) year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers
• Exceptional Excel skills
• Minimum 40 hours of continuing education is required yearly
• Proficiency with tax automation / workflow software is a plus
• Consultative approach and client service oriented
• Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)
• Self-Directed, Autonomous, Ambitious
