Tax Senior/Tax Manager

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-established public accounting firm that is looking to add a Tax Senior or Tax Manager to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working closely with privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals while developing long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tax compliance and planning, enjoy mentoring staff, and be looking for an opportunity to continue growing their career within a collaborative public accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and corporations.


• Provide tax planning and consulting services to business and individual clients.


• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.


• Research and resolve complex tax issues.


• Review work prepared by staff and provide coaching and mentorship.


• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines during busy season.


• Assist with practice development and identifying opportunities to expand client services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.


• CPA license or progress toward obtaining CPA preferred.


• 3+ years of public accounting experience for Tax Senior candidates.


• 5+ years of public accounting experience for Tax Manager candidates.


• Experience with pass-through entities, partnerships, S corporations, and individual taxation.


• Strong communication and client service skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
