Tax Manager – Hybrid | Public Accounting Firm

Location: Austin Texas
Job Type: Full-time

A well-established Austin CPA firm is growing and looking to add an experienced tax professional at the Manager, Senior Manager, Director, or Partner level.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than another senior title — the firm is actively expanding and pursuing acquisitions, creating an opportunity to have a meaningful role in the firm’s continued growth.

What You’ll Do

Manage and oversee complex tax engagements for businesses, trusts, and individuals

Provide tax planning and advisory support to clients

Work extensively with pass-through entities and complex business returns

Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships

Serve as a senior technical resource and contribute to the development of the firm

Take ownership of client work while collaborating with a close-knit team

What They’re Looking For

6+ years of progressive tax experience preferred for Director/Partner-level candidates in public accounting

Strong experience with business, pass-through, and trust taxation

CPA required

Confident, client-facing communication skills

Ability to independently manage complex tax matters and client relationships

Professionals who want to contribute to a growing firm and have a voice in its direction
