Teacher, Science, Middle School (EX)(Current Opportunity) - St. Michael/St. Clement School, Baltimor

Our Middle School Science Teacher will provide students with a comprehensive academic
experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science curriculum for grades 6-8th.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position.

Essential Functions

• Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the
  teaching of the Catholic Church.


•  Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the
  Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.


• Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning


• Maintains accurate and complete records of student’s progress and development, in a
  timely manner.


• Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through
  email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic gradebook.


• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the
  classroom.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, required


•  MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification, required


•  Classroom teaching experience, preferred


•  Proficient in using a variety of technology

Pay Rate:  $48,000, Annualized
