Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nTeam Lead, Sign Department \n \n\n\nEaton\u2019s Crouse-Hinds Airport Lighting Products is seeking a Team Lead for our Sign Department. This role supports daily production operations with a strong focus on assembly, finish quality, safety, and team leadership. The Team Lead will guide a group of production employees through hands-on work while ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met. \nThis position is ideal for an experienced manufacturing or assembly professional who enjoys leading on the floor, coaching others, and maintaining high standards for both assembled and finished products. Experience with painting or powder coating is preferred, as surface finish and appearance are critical to our airport lighting and signage products. \n \n\n\nKey Responsibilities \n\u2022 Lead and support daily assembly and production activities in the Sign Department \n\u2022 Assign work, communicate priorities, and monitor workflow to meet production targets \n\u2022 Train and coach team members on standard work, safety, and quality expectations \n\u2022 Ensure assembled products meet quality and cosmetic finish standards \n\u2022 Support and troubleshoot painting and/or powder coating operations as needed \n\u2022 Promote and enforce all safety rules, policies, and PPE requirements \n\u2022 Complete production paperwork and enter data into SAP accurately \n\u2022 Coordinate material flow, inventory accuracy, and work order transactions \n\u2022 Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in the work area \n\u2022 Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing efforts \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications \n\u2022 High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution \n\u2022 3\u20135 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment \n\u2022 Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and production paperwork \n\u2022 Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example \n \n\n\nPreferred Qualifications \n\u2022 5 or more years of manufacturing or assembly experience \n\u2022 Experience as a team lead, lead operator, or informal floor leader \n\u2022 Hands-on experience with industrial painting and/or powder coating processes \n\u2022 Attention to cosmetic quality and finish requirements \n\u2022 Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment \n\n## Skills:\n\nPosition Criteria: \n\u2022 Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment required and comply with all Safety policies \n\u2022 Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing \n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to assemble, disassemble, and test all sub-assemblies \n\u2022 Must be able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and other Production paperwork \n\u2022 Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and train others accordingly \n\u2022 Must be able to identify that the components used meet quality standards \n\u2022 Ability to complete required paperwork \n\u2022 Must be able to work overtime and be flexible when required \n\u2022 Ability to be flexible and willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks\n\n## Additional Information:\n\nNo relocation benefit is being offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Windsor, CT.
