Team Leader - Non Invasive Cardiology (RN or Sonographer)

Step into a leadership role at the forefront of cardiovascular diagnostics. As a Cardiac Non-Invasive Team Lead, you will guide daily operations within a high-performing non-invasive cardiology team while ensuring exceptional patient care, efficient workflow, and high-quality diagnostic outcomes. This role is ideal for an experienced RN or Cardiac Sonographer who thrives in both clinical excellence and team leadership.

You will work closely with cardiologists and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care across a variety of diagnostic cardiac testing modalities, supporting both technical and clinical functions within the department.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily operations within the non-invasive cardiac diagnostics team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.


• Provide direct patient care and support for cardiac diagnostic testing, including echocardiography, stress testing, Holter/event monitoring, and other non-invasive studies.


• Perform or assist with cardiac imaging and diagnostic procedures based on licensure and training (RN or Sonographer role-dependent).


• Coordinate patient schedules, staffing needs, and workflow optimization to support departmental efficiency.


• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and care teams to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes.


• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to team members, promoting best practices and ongoing development.


• Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and quality assurance processes.


• Provide patient education and support related to cardiac testing and cardiovascular health.

Required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or another compact licensure state OR credentialed Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent, as applicable).

Preferred

• BSN (for RN candidates).


• Previous experience in cardiology, echocardiography, or non-invasive cardiac diagnostics.


• Prior leadership or charge experience in a clinical setting.
