Job Description - Tech Lead (Guidewire)

Our global client is looking for Tech Lead to spearhead global Guidewire implementation. This high visibility role is for a 6 month contract to begin with strong possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team to integrate and spearhead implementation of Guidewire Claims Center global implementation

Plan, oversee and execute staffing needs, liaise with relevant business units (BA/Product/PM etc) in development, planning, scope, sizing and implementation of the Claims portfolio.

Spearhead key stakeholder relationship management

Ensure unit and functional tests are integrated part of the CI/CD pipeline, spearhead Claims eco-system (3rd party integrations and relevant systems)

Requirements

Must haves:

10+ years in overall IT experience, most of which has been within Guidewire Claims Center capacity

Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field

Must currently reside in relevant US States and be legally allowed to work in the US

Deep know how of Scrum or other Agile development methodologies

Deep know how of XML, Code Scan Plugin/Tools, Code Coverage, GIT/TFS/Subversion, GUnit, Netsparker, Sonarqube and relevant technologies

Expertise in Guidewire API, Modelling

Deep know how of Apache Tomcat or similar application. Deep know how of J2EE, Tomcat, SQL Server

Deep know how of Guide Wire Claim Center

Deep know how of DevSecOps and managing CI/CD pipeline

Hands-on experience with Commercial Insurance industry
