Job Description - Technical Program Manager

A TPM bridges the gap between high-level business objectives and technical execution.

Project Orchestration: Manage end-to-end lifecycles of complex technical projects, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a "translator" between engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., product, marketing, executives).

Risk Management: Proactively identify technical blockers, system architecture risks, and external dependencies to develop mitigation strategies.

Technical Oversight: Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with coding standards, security policies, and industry best practices.

Agile Governance: Implement and optimize Agile, Scrum, or DevOps methodologies to drive efficient delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA often preferred).

Experience: 5+ years in technical leadership, software development, or project delivery.

Hard Skills: Proficiency in SDLC, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), system architecture, and project management tools like JIRA.

Certifications: Common preferences include PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or SAFe Agile.
