Technician

• Creates physical orthotic frames from CNC Mill or Plaster Molds using heating and vacuum chambers
  
• Grinds and polishes orthotic base
  
• Prepares multiple layers of orthotic device
  
• Adds modifications as necessary to the orthotic device according to orders during various stages of production
  
• Applies top covering to orthotic device
  
• Finishing of orthotic device
  

Requirements

• Familiarity with orthotic devices
  
• Prefer previous experience with orthotic fabrication
  
• Experience or willingness to learn to work with CNC Mill
  
• Experience or willingness to learn to work with Heating and Vacuum Chamber
  
• Experience or willingness to learn to work with Bench Grinders and Polishers
  
• Experience or willingness to learn to work with Adhesives
  
• Ability to work as a team member
  
• Willingness to learn basic biomechanics
