Technician Level 1

• Install and configure AV equipment (TVs, speakers, receivers,
  etc.) with increasing independence.
  
• Run and terminate various types of cabling (HDMI, Cat5e/6,
  speaker wire, etc.).
  
• Troubleshoot basic to intermediate technical issues related to
  AV, security, and networking systems.
  
• Provide on-site technical support to clients, explaining
  system operation and addressing concerns.
  
• Collaborate with Tech 2 technicians on more complex
  installations and projects.
  
• Assist with programming and configuration of AV and control systems.
  
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time
  logs and project documentation.
  
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
  
• Continue to develop technical skills and knowledge through
  training and on-the-job experience.
  
• Maintain company tools and equipment.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
  
• 1-2 years of experience in AV installation or a related field preferred.
  
• Basic understanding of AV, security, and networking systems.
  
• Familiarity with various types of AV equipment and cabling.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical problems.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
  
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  
• Ability to pass a background check.
