Technology Support Specialist

Position: IT Solutions Support

Location: Shared Operations Office

Reports To: IT Director

FLSA: Non-exempt

Job Staus: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Microsoft 365, hybrid Active Directory, databases, hybrid voice systems, wireless networks, IT security, cameras, and other technology systems.
• Support Apple technologies, as well as Windows and Linux devices across the organization.
• Manage and support Identity and Access Management (IAM), including password management, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Single Sign-On (SAML SSO).
• Provide technical support for the Church Management System (Rock) and related integrations.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that provide creative solutions, improve efficiency, and enhance the technology experience for Bayside users.
• Develop, maintain, and organize technical documentation, including system configurations, setup procedures, processes, and troubleshooting resources for IT team reference and training.
• Partner with clients, team members, and project managers to understand needs, solve technical challenges, and deliver solutions on time.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical users.
• Take initiative, work independently, and remain internally motivated to achieve excellent results.
• Approach technology with a service-oriented mindset, seeking opportunities to make technology more effective, reliable, and awesome for our users.
• Other duties as assigned by the IT Director.

Qualifications

• College degree or 1 to 3 years of experience
• Mac and Windows experience
• Mobile Device Management
• Participates as a team member with good communication skills.
• Basic organizational and time management skills
• Able to organize and manage individual schedule and/or workload in a highly dynamic environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Physical Requirement

• Periods of prolonged sitting at a computer screen
• Ability to lift and move computers and peripheral equipment

Time Commitment

• Full-time, must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays
