Temporary Awake shift Overnight Caregiver Frederick/ Carroll Counties

Examples of Job Responsibilities:

• Remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the overnight shift.


• Monitor client(s) for safety, mobility, and comfort.


• Provide assistance with toileting, repositioning, or other personal care needs during the night.


• Offer companionship and reassurance if the client becomes restless, anxious, or wakes up.


• Maintain a calm and supportive environment, redirecting and de-escalating if necessary.


• Document nightly observations and care notes accurately 


• Assist with non-medical care needs, including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery


• Communicate promptly with the office about incidents, changes in condition, or concerns.


• Follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed

Examples of Job Qualifications:

• Memory care is a preferred 


• Prior experience in caregiving, personal care, home care, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.


• Ability to remain awake and attentive for the duration of the shift.


• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.


• Detail Oriented


• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.


• Proficient communication skills


• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned


• Be willing to work in Frederick, Carroll counties and the surrounding areas
