This temporary position for the Henderson, KY OB/GYN office is to cover staff for a 10-14 week period. The position will work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, no holidays or weekends. This is a great opportunity to work with a wonderful team and earn extra income for the holidays. We are working to add another provider to this clinic, so a long term position is always a possibility.
The Clinic Office Assistant (RN, LPN, CMA/RMA) who fills this role will work directly with a provider, including chaperone sensitive exams and will allow the clinic to maintain patient access, support provider productivity, and ensure safe, efficient care without disruption to clinic operations. Deaconess Henderson Women’s Service provides a complete range of health care services to women and infants. This includes inpatient units for labor and delivery, well-baby nursery and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The idea candidate for this position would have experience in women's OB/GYN areas.
Education and Experience
Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
Experience preferred but not required.

Current certification/license from one of the below:
Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical Assistants
Registered Medical Assistant- American Medical Technologist
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant- National Health career Association
National Certified Medical Assistant- National Center for Competency Testing
Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- National Association for Health Professionals
Registered Medical Assistant- American Allied Health
Certified Medical Assistant Clinical- American Medical Certification Association
