Test & Product Specialist

Your role

Mission: To analyze the issues in test booth for machines which require troubleshooting and identify root cause to improve first time right. Lead product audits for improving line efficiency. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• 
  
  
  
  • Trouble shooting of machines:
    
    
    
    • Follow all safety regulations while conducting troubleshooting.
    
    
    • On time reporting of risk observation / near miss / incidents
    
    
    • Contribute to the safety kaizen board for improvement in process / design.
    
    
    • Perform trouble shooting on the machines having issues after test.
    
    
    • Identify root cause of the issue and categories in assembly / programming / supplier quality etc.
    
    
    • Daily communication of the issues to respective team for corrective action & training of the operators on the issues identified.
    
    
    • Maintain the list of machines needing trouble shooting / root cause and action taken to create database for future training.

  • Testing & Rework – Support testing & rework in case of no trouble shooting needed.
    
    
    
    • Support testing of the machines in test booth
    
    
    • Support rework activities after inspection
    
    
    • Identify common issues per line and communicate it with respective supervisor / line lead.
    
    
    • Support test operators when needed / help is asked for.
    
    
    • Training of test operators when required.
    
    
    • Support 5’s initiatives to keep workplace neat, clean, and Safe.
    
    
    
    
  
  
  • Product Audit
    
    
    
    • Do product audits for all lines
    
    
    • More in depth inspection to find issues and report back to production on findings
    
    
    • Align with other PC on process improvements

Education and Experience:

• Strong mechanical & electrical knowledge


• 
  
  2 to 4 years of assembly experience with strong knowledge of assembly and testing processes for air compressors, generators, and pumps.
  
  


• Experience in troubleshooting of air compressors / generators or pumps


• Should have operating knowledge of systems & Basic Computer operation.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times (occasionally).
