ââResponsibilities include:
âProvide technical and engineering support for major IT Test and Evaluation (T&E)
âDocument the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational testing.
âUse Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.
âIndependently prepare (or direct others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
âSelect and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity.
âReview and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks.
âDevise new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness.
âEvaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification).
âDeconflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.
âOperate with general instructions; but select portions of work are reviewed in detail to measure adequacy of approach, execution, and presentation.
âPerform and/or support capability analyses and COTS/GOTS evaluation, select components, and develop system interfaces to ensure compliance with DoD and commercially accepted standards and requirements.
âConstructs models and simulations of systems to demonstrate the ability to meet user requirements.
âConducts engineering performance, cost-effectiveness, reliability, technical and schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studies and document this information in a technical report as directed by the task order.
âProvide aid or guidance as necessary in the accomplishment of other engineering tasks.
âBachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
âMinimum 4 years of experience in technical engineering
âAbility to Integrate with other organizations/teams.
âExperience working with Agile Methodologies
âExperience working in secured environments.
âExcellent customer service, communication, and interface skills
