Test Technician - 1st Shift

Eaton\u2019s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Test Technician - 1st Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD!\n\nThe core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.\n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Pressure test aircraft ducting systems using High Pressure and Burst Tests\n * Serialize parts to properly identify part placement\n * Use 2D Part Marking System\n * Conduct underwater visual examination to ensure quality of weld and leakage\n * Read routers for drawing requirements and determining marking specs and location\n * Perform visual inspection to detect damages that may occur prior to delivery\n * Print and fill out ATP form\n * Weigh, measure, and check that parts meet drawing requirements \n * Multi-task and prioritize parts to sustain on time delivery \n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualification:\n\n * High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. \n * Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment\n * This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
