Position Summary: Responsible for supporting the therapeutic milieu and/or providing individual TBS services under the direction of a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor, by ensuring that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, clients are supervised, safety is maintained, and clients and families are treated with respect and dignity.
Job Duties:
Supports the daily therapeutic programming for children and adolescents in the Kids Thrive pediatric mental health program.
Assists clinical staff with implementing treatment plans, behavioral interventions, and skill‑building activities.
Monitors clients during group, individual, and recreational activities to ensure safety, engagement, and therapeutic structure.
Models positive behavior, emotional regulation, and pro‑social skills to promote client growth and development.
Helps facilitate individual or group interventions, including social skills, coping skills, and psycho-educational activities
Observes, documents, and reports client behavior, participation, and progress throughout the day.
Manages crisis situations calmly and effectively, following program safety protocols and de‑escalation strategies.
Maintains a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment, including completing room checks and monitoring program areas.
Collaborates with clinicians, teachers, nurses, and program leadership to ensure coordinated care.
Builds positive rapport with clients and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
Participates in team meetings, trainings, and debriefings to support high‑quality care.
Learns and competently uses EMR and other required systems to document services, track participation, and communicate with the team.
Helps prepare materials and supports staff with program activities and treatment groups.
Performs additional tasks that support program safety, organization, and therapeutic effectiveness.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors or Masters from an accredited college. Combination of education and relevant work experience may be required.
Experience: Previous experience in a mental health or education setting with young children, with direct experience working with children with mental health or significant behaviors difficulties.
License: N/A
Additional Requirements: Completion of additional mental health training within 30 days of employment. Must be at least 18 years of age. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
