As a Therapist, you will provide comprehensive mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic interventions. You will utilize evidence-based counseling, psychotherapy, and behavior modification techniques to support clients in improving emotional well-being, strengthening relationships, and achieving personal treatment goals. This role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and a commitment to high-quality, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy services in a variety of clinical settings
- Conduct intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments within required timeframes and standards
- Establish diagnoses based on clinical assessments and document accordingly
- Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with regulatory, accreditation, and agency standards
- Participate in clinical staffing, treatment team meetings, and case consultations
- Meet department-specific Collaborative Service Goal (CSG) and productivity expectations
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure authorization of services and continuity of care
- Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in electronic health records
- Monitor and correct documentation or chart deficiencies within required timeframes
- Support clients through discharge and transition planning, including summaries and final documentation
- Provide crisis intervention and participate in emergency response as needed
- Facilitate group therapy, psychoeducation, family therapy, and specialty clinical services (e.g., trauma-informed care, co-occurring disorders)
- Provide clinical guidance, consultation, and support to team members when appropriate
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, referral sources, and colleagues in accordance with ethical standards
- Participate in required trainings, supervision, and professional development activities
- Represent the agency professionally in the community
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related behavioral health field required
- Current licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent in the state of practice required
- Experience providing clinical therapy services preferred
- Experience with diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based practices preferred
- Willingness to pursue licensure in additional states as needed
Required License/Certification:
- Current and unrestricted professional license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) required
- Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required
- CPR and First Aid certification within three (3) months of employment required
- Additional certifications (e.g., CPI or de-escalation training) required based on program assignment
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Ability to respond effectively to crisis situations and maintain professional boundaries
- Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Ability to work independently while adhering to supervision and organizational standards
- Familiarity with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in behavioral health practice
- Willingness to provide telehealth services as needed

- Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks
- Completion of New Hire Orientation upon hire
- Completion of all required trainings, including Relias training, upon hire and annually thereafter
- Completion of behavioral management training within required timeframes (CPI or Verbal De-escalation depending on program)
- Completion of Collaborative Service Goals (CSGs) training within 30 days of employment
- Completion of required annual training hours based on program and state requirements
- Submission of required clinical documentation, privileging, and credentialing forms where applicable
- Compliance with all program-specific policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to provide services during required program operating hours (including school-based settings if applicable)
Physical Requirements:
ADA Consideration – Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and documentation tasks.
Sedentary work primarily involves sitting but may include occasional walking or standing for brief periods throughout the workday.
