Job Description - Title Coordinator

The Title Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a database and repository of real property title documents, managing oil and gas leases, completing property disclosures for dispositions, and ensuring clear title for the company’s property portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the CRM database and repository of title documents, including deeds and title policies, for the entire portfolio.
  • Reviews and completes property disclosures for escrow transactions and notarizes real estate documents as needed.
  • Reviews and analyzes oil and gas leases, processes division orders, tracks royalties, and provides payment documentation to other departments as needed.
  • Assists with preparing and recording transfer deeds and resolving deed issues.
  • Process incoming mail for the Calabasas paralegal team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in the real estate/title industry preferred
  • Previous Title and Escrow experience preferred
  • Active CA Commissioned Notary Public
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with MS Dynamics CRM preferred
  • Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Takes initiative and works well under minimal direction
  • Proactive self-learner with strong problem-solving ability
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer, quality, and results orientation
  • Ability to be an effective member of project teams

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $25.50 to $30.61 Hourly. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation

This position is not bonus-eligible.

The Company provides 9 paid holidays per year, and, upon hire, new employees will accrue paid time off (PTO) at a rate of 0.0577 hours of PTO per hour worked, up to a maximum of 120 hours per year.
