Job Description - Tool & Die Machine Assembler


Job Title: Tool & Die Machine Assembler 
Department: Project Support Group (PSG)
Location: On-Site, Sarver, PA

As a Tool & Die Machine Assembler you will use your hands-on skill and problem-solving mindset to bring complex tooling and automation systems to life—from assembly and install to final debug. Working alongside engineering and manufacturing, you’ll play a key role in delivering precision solutions that meet exacting standards and keep critical projects moving forward. Our Tool & Die Machine Assembler role is for someone who thrives on craftsmanship, ownership, and seeing their work perform in the real world.


What You’ll Do:
  • Assemble, troubleshoot, and debug precision tooling, dies, and mechanical systems.
  • Install industrial machine systems and tool die equipment at customer sites.
  • Determine the best method and sequence to mechanically assemble and assist with debugging of industrial machines and tooling systems. 
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve design or process challenges.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Working knowledge of precision machining and grinding processes.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications; SolidWorks preferred.
  • Must be a U.S citizen and be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to wear required PPE.

Experience & Education:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a machining or surface grinding environment required.
  • Machine assembly experience preferred.
  • Tool & die assembly experience preferred.
  • Completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Stand or sit for extended periods (8–10 hours/day).
  • Lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted.
  • Frequent reaching, kneeling, stooping, and manual dexterity tasks.
  • Ability to wear PPE and work around industrial equipment.

Work Environment:
  • On-site manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to moving machinery and moderate noise levels.
  • Frequent movement between departments.
