Tooling Engineer (Direct Hire)

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support for product development and design
  


• Provide input and direction in the sourcing, design, construction, PPAP, and launch of new tools, fixtures, and equipment
  


• Estimate, schedule, and execute all engineering changes for tooling, cost savings, etc...
  


• Establish new and superior sourcing methods for new tooling
  


• Work with production to implement Poka\-Yoke methods
  


• Conduct annual tool audits
  


• Perform other duties as assigned
  

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  


• 5+ years of stamping experience
  


• Must have 3+ years of modeling software experience (Solidworks or equivalent)
  


• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
