We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Total Rewards Analyst to administer and enhance our compensation, benefits, and retirement programs. In this role, you will partner with Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to ensure our total rewards programs remain competitive, compliant, data-driven, and aligned with our mission of attracting and retaining exceptional talent.

What You'll Do

• Conduct compensation market pricing and salary benchmarking using industry surveys.


• Support annual merit, bonus, and promotion cycles through financial modeling, system configuration, auditing, and reporting.


• Evaluate job descriptions and recommend salary grades, job classifications, and FLSA designations.


• Perform pay equity analyses to identify trends, compression, and compensation disparities.


• Analyze healthcare benefit utilization, claims data, renewal projections, and cost-sharing trends.


• Support annual open enrollment, including system testing, data validation, and enrollment reporting.


• Reconcile monthly benefit billing between HRIS, payroll, and insurance carriers while monitoring vendor performance.


• Administer retirement plan operations, including contribution audits, employer match calculations, and annual compliance testing.


• Support regulatory filings, including ACA reporting, Form 5500 preparation, and other compliance initiatives.


• Monitor federal and state legislation impacting compensation and employee benefits.


• Develop executive dashboards and reports that provide insights into compensation, benefits, retention, turnover, and workforce trends.


• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and HRIS teams to ensure data accuracy and effective program administration.


• Maintain confidential employee information while supporting organizational compliance and governance initiatives.

What You'll Bring

• Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards.


• Healthcare or hospital experience strongly preferred.


• Experience building financial models and presenting analytical findings to leadership.


• Strong understanding of compensation strategy, employee benefits, retirement administration, and regulatory compliance.


• Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, and related employment regulations.


• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality.


• Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, financial modeling, and data analysis.


• Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, or ADP.


• Experience with benefits administration systems and retirement recordkeeper platforms preferred.


• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or HR analytics tools preferred.


• CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) strongly preferred.


• CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred.


• CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) preferred.


• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
