Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with customs brokers on entry filing accuracy, duty payment, and compliance with CBP requirements
  • Support IEEPA refund filings, AD/CVD proceedings, and other duty recovery or mitigation initiatives
  • Maintain and audit import/export records in compliance with CBP recordkeeping requirements

  • Partner with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure trade compliance is embedded in sourcing and supplier management decisions
  • Support the development and delivery of internal trade compliance training and awareness programs
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of trade compliance policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or import/export operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR), HTS classification, USMCA rules of origin, and Section 232/301 tariff frameworks
  • Familiarity with CBP's ACE portal and entry filing processes
  • Experience with AD/CVD proceedings, duty drawback, or free trade agreement qualification preferred
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) designation preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with trade management software (SAP GTS, Oracle GTM, or similar) a plus
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
