Job Description - Trail Technician I

What you’ll be doing: 



  • Clear new ski slopes and maintain existing slopes in preparation for winter operations

  • Remove trees and vegetation to support summer construction projects 

  • Post construction slopes restoration

  • Provide emergency care and transportation for guests and employees (training and certification required) 

  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively – while wearing proper personal protective equipment (boots, gloves, protective eyewear, hearing protection, etc.) 


What you’ll need to do the job: 



  • Ability to follow direction and work independently of direct supervision 

  • High level of communication  

  • Knowledge on how to safely operate clearing saw, wood-chipper, and hand tools 

  • Ability to work outside in various temperatures including heat, cold, and wet 

  • Dexterity to maneuver on undeveloped and mountainous terrain 

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly 

  • Capable of strenuous manual labor for up to 10 hours a day
