This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in medical or Optometry who enjoys mentoring others and helping teams succeed. While optical training will be a primary focus, this position may also support and develop team members in Patient Services and Clinical Technician responsibilities, creating a well-rounded and collaborative learning experience across the organization.

What You Will Do
Deliver engaging and effective training to new hires following established training materials and learning pathways
Serve as a subject matter expert in Optical while helping team members learn the fundamentals of Patient Services and Clinical Technician responsibilities
Support Practice Managers with ongoing staff development and continued education
Provide consistent updates regarding employee training, progress and performance
Conduct staff assessments during key phases of training
Assist with efficiency and workflow improvement projects through cloud application software and resource development
Partner with leadership and the training team to support educational events and development initiatives
Promote a positive, professional, and team-focused learning environment

Qualifications
High school diploma required
Experience in optometry or ophthalmology preferred
Experience in Optical is a bonus and will serve as the primary training focus
Training or coaching experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while also supporting a collaborative team environment
Proficiency in CompuLink software preferred
Ability to adapt, motivate others, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information
Regional travel and occasional travel outside the region may be required
Flexible scheduling may be necessary based on training and operational needs
