headquartered in Lanham, Maryland. We serve the Department of Defense, federal civilian

Position Overview

CGINTL is seeking an accomplished Training Specialist to provide program, portfolio, real-property, project-analysis, risk, facilitation, and acquisition-support analysis to the BPAM PMO. You will help the PMO report consistently, keep facility data current, and give leadership clear visibility into construction, sustainment, and operational performance across the Border Patrol and Air and Marine portfolio.

This position supports U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) through the Program, Project and Mission Support Services (PPMSS) effort for the Border Patrol and Air & Marine (BPAM) Program Management Office (PMO). The BPAM PMO plans, builds, sustains, and operates the facilities that U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) and Air and Marine Operations (AMO) rely on to carry out their mission.

Training Execution

  • Oversee all training execution for the PMO and monitor compliance with CBP mandatory trainings.

  • Develop trainings as requested by the Government.

  • Guide the certification process for PMO employees, including DHS FAC-COR and FAC-PM.

  • Assist in creating individual development plans and manage the Training SharePoint page.

  • Assist with training-course research and logistics, including registration, travel-approval submissions, and related communications.

Facilitation and Process Improvement

  • Serve as facilitator for meetings and ad-hoc projects: set agendas, manage to the agenda, track action items, distribute minutes, and keep stakeholders current on next steps.

  • Coordinate facilitation planning for the PMO: gather information from sponsors and stakeholders, research appropriate facilitation methods, review reference documentation, facilitate, and document a Parking Lot and process-improvement write-up.

  • Assess PMO work to capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements, and help develop lessons-learned capture, review, and incorporation procedures across the PMO.

  • Plan, facilitate, and execute lessons-learned meetings on behalf of the Government and document findings for Government review.

Funding Management and Budget

  • Manage, track, and report funding and budget for assigned training and facilitation initiatives.

  • Submit Purchase Requisition Requests (PRRs) as directed, track financial actions in SAP, and track related costs in TRIRIGA or successor at least monthly.

  • Report funding and budget status to the Government monthly.

Coordination

  • Work closely with Mission Support Assistants and Mission Support Specialists on training-related documentation, scheduling, and travel.0

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree. Additional relevant experience may offset education requirements on a case-by-case basis with Government client and COR approval.

  • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience.

  • Strong writing, organization, and stakeholder-coordination skills.

  • Ability to design and facilitate sessions that end in documented, actionable outcomes.

  • Attention to detail in tracking compliance, certifications, and training funds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating federal training, certification programs, or workforce development.

  • Experience with DHS FAC-COR and FAC-PM certification processes.

  • Facilitation experience for working sessions, lessons-learned meetings, and process-improvement events.

  • SharePoint content-management

  • Experience with federal travel systems and training-registration logistics.
