The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Director’s Office.
This position is responsible for researching, developing, and recommending Health and Human Service reform initiatives. The position will report directly to the Strategy and Transformation Officer.

Ability to research and interpret federal and state health care regulations.
Skill in managing competing timelines and deadlines and managing the logistics of numerous complex projects.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health care, human services, business, or public administration.
Four years’ experience in human services, health insurance, Medicaid, or health care programs. Must include technical writing experience with state plan amendments, waivers, program policy or similar documents and experience interpreting state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Experience with Medicaid or CHIP programs, rules and regulations are preferred.
