NOW HIRING: TRANSMISSION / INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

EXPERIENCED HEAVY LINE TECHNICIAN WANTED

Willy’s Transmissions and Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced Transmission / Installation Technician to join our team.

We’re seeking a skilled automotive technician with a strong mechanical background and heavy line experience who can confidently handle transmission installations, repairs, diagnostics, and related automotive systems.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable with diagnostic equipment and hand tools, and takes pride in quality workmanship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform transmission installations, removals, and related repairs
  
• Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical and electrical systems
  
• Perform heavy line repairs and general automotive service
  
• Conduct maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical concerns
  
• Perform engine and diesel-related repairs as needed
  
• Properly use hand tools, specialty tools, and shop equipment
  
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used
  
• Follow all shop safety procedures and quality standards
  
• Work closely with other technicians and service personnel
  
• Help maintain an efficient, organized, and professional shop environment
  

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Heavy line experience required
  
• Strong automotive mechanical and diagnostic skills
  
• Transmission experience strongly preferred
  
• Experience with automotive electrical systems and diagnostics
  
• Comfortable using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  
• Diesel repair experience is a plus
  
• Automotive service technician experience required
  
• ASE Certifications are a plus
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-minded
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  
• Strong communication skills
