Summary

High volume GM dealer in Tucson has immediate opening for Automatic Transmission technician. Preferably experienced and more so toward GM Products, although would be willing to cross line train. Excellent opportunity, with great pay, working environment and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses cause of malfunction.
• Performs transmission repair as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory time allowances and standards.
• Removes and disassembles transmission unit and performs repair.
• Examines vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Installs repaired transmission, replaces fluids and makes appropriate adjustments.
• Road tests vehicle when required or refers to test technician.
• Documents work performed and recommended

• Clean driving record, minimum three years
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen
