Heartline Staffing is seeking a Travel Dental Hygienist for a high-demand assignment supporting a hospital-based dental clinic environment.

This role focuses on preventative care, patient education, and clinical support within a structured weekday schedule. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader clinical team.

Compensation:
36 Hours: Gross $1,763/week | W2 $11/hr | Stipend $1,323/week
48 Hours: Gross $2,116/week | W2 $14.85/hr | Stipend $1,323/week
• 39 hours/week standard schedule
• OT: 1.35x after 40 hours
• Orientation: non-billable
• Modules: paid up to 16 hours

Schedule:
• Day shift, 5x8
• Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Mon–Thurs)
• Friday: 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• No weekends

Unit Details:
• Hospital-based dental clinic
• Preventative and hygiene-focused care
• Epic Wisdom charting system
• Patient education and counseling emphasis

Responsibilities:
• Perform oral prophylaxis including removal of deposits and stains
• Apply fluoride treatments and preventative care measures
• Take and develop dental radiographs
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and patient education
• Conduct health history reviews and record vital signs
• Document findings and procedures accurately in EMR
• Support appointment coordination and patient flow

• Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene required
• Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license required
• Minimum 0–1 year experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic or similar EMR preferred
• Strong patient education and communication skills required
