Location: Bakersfield, California

Department/Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Shift: Day Shift (12-hour shifts, open availability required)

Number of Weeks: 13

Salary: $40 - $50 per hour

Job Description:

EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel Nurse - RN-NICU to join our team in Bakersfield. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide specialized care to critically ill infants in a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

Education: RN Degree from an accredited institution.
License: Current New Jersey RN License.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a NICU setting.
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide necessary interventions.
