? What You’ll Do

• 
  

  Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Properly identify patients, specimens, and collection requirements
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Collect throat and nasopharyngeal specimens
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Provide patients with instructions for urine specimen collection
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Perform urine drug-testing collections, including applicable DOT collections
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Accession, process, and prepare specimens for testing
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare specimens and documentation for reference laboratory services
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor supplies and assist with maintaining laboratory workflow
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with laboratory phone calls, reports, and clerical responsibilities
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure specimens are accurately handled and routed in a timely manner
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with laboratory staff, providers, and other clinical departments
  
  

  
  

✅ Requirements

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Phlebotomy certification and/or at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Current CPR certification or ability to obtain/meet facility requirements
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strong venipuncture and specimen-handling skills
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent attention to detail and patient identification practices
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work variable shifts and participate in weekend rotations
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
