Travel Radiation Therapist

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
• Prepare and position patients for treatment, ensuring accurate delivery of radiation doses.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, following safety protocols.
• Monitor patients during treatment and provide support to address any concerns or side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions, patient responses, and any changes in patient condition.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Radiation Therapist in Oregon.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• Previous experience in radiation therapy preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
