Travel Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for interpretation.
• Float between Concord and Walnut Creek campuses as needed, providing flexible support to the imaging departments.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulatory standards, and departmental policies.
• Document all procedures accurately in patient records and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Active California Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting is essential.
• Previous travel experience and familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
