This position is remote in nature but requires full-time travel to customer locations throughout the week.\n\nAs an Installation Technician with Insight, you will receive training on the proper installation and use of our client\u2019s hardware and software solutions.\n\nWhat to Expect at Insight\n\nWe are legendary for taking care of our teammates. Teammates have access to 11 Teammate Resource Groups (TRGs) that foster belonging and connection.\n\nTemporary W2 teammates are eligible for:\n\n * Medical benefits\n * Sick time after 90 days\n * Access to retirement plans\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAs an Installation Technician, you will:\n\n * Deploy and install 12\u2011volt technology solutions in fleet vehicles\n * Troubleshoot hardware and electrical issues using tools such as multimeters\n * Safely work with vehicle electrical systems and 12\u2011volt technology\n * Perform professional-grade wiring, including soldering and crimping connections\n * Travel extensively to customer sites Monday through Friday\n * Represent Insight professionally in customer-facing environments\n * Work independently in the field while collaborating with internal teams\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nWe are looking for a technician who has:\n\n * Hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems (cars, SUVs, RVs, or campers)\n * Knowledge of basic networking principles, including network cabling and devices\n * Experience with soldering electrical wires and crimp connections\n * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\n * Reliable personal transportation\n * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team\n * Residence within 30 miles of a major airport to support frequent travel\n * Availability to travel 100% Monday through Friday\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience configuring Cradlepoint routers or equivalent mobile networking devices\n * Previous field installation, fleet services, or low-voltage technician experience\n\n\n\nBe AmbITious\n\nAt Insight, it\u2019s not just about what you do today\u2014it\u2019s about where you can go tomorrow.
