Job Description - Treasury Relationship Manager

Security State Bank-Wyoming is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Treasury Relationship Manager to join our community bank team.



This is a full-time, on-site position within our sales and relationship management team. The ideal candidate will bring a consultative approach to business banking, combining strong treasury management expertise with exceptional relationship-building, analytical, and sales skills.



This role is responsible for developing and managing business customer relationships while delivering tailored treasury management solutions that support customer growth, operational efficiency, and overall financial objectives.



Key Qualifications & Characteristics



  • Strategic advisory mindset with the ability to look beyond transactional banking and provide customized financial solutions that optimize working capital and support business goals

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to establish trust and collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams

  • Deep knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS), payment solutions, cash management products, and financial instruments

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including evaluating customer financial information to identify and recommend appropriate banking solutions

  • Understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices within treasury management

  • Proactive and sales-oriented approach with the ability to identify opportunities, manage pipelines, network within the community, and grow treasury relationships

  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and ethical business practices


Primary Responsibilities



  • Develop, manage, and expand business customer treasury relationships

  • Recommend and implement treasury management products and services tailored to customer needs

  • Analyze customer cash flow processes and operational challenges to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Partner with lenders, branch teams, and internal departments to deliver comprehensive banking solutions

  • Support treasury management sales efforts, customer onboarding, and ongoing service delivery

  • Maintain compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards


Education/Experience



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA) in business, finance, or equivalent from a college or university, or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation (preferred), and/or a minimum of five years in business banking, less experience may be considered for candidates holding a CTP designation

  • Experience in community banking sales, business development, or lending

  • Experience in supporting teams

  • Advanced understanding of treasury management products and services (ACH, wires, RDC, positive pay, etc.)
