Truck Driver II - Duq

JOB SUMMARY:

The Truck Driver II will be responsible for making multiple trips a day between the Duquesne facility and the McKeesport facility hauling supplies and fiber.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load rehandle supplies on to Box Truck in Duquesne, drive to McKeesport, unload and locate product in proper location.  

• Pull completed rehandle product in McKeesport, load on Box Truck, and drive to Duquesne. Unload and locate in proper location in Production Area and notify Production Coordinator of delivery.

• Pull and load requested fiber in McKeesport and take to Duquesne and offload. 

• Haul any other items requested between plants communicating with proper Supervisors and/or Coordinators of each delivery.

• Will also be required to drive lift truck in each facility and do other task requested by Supervisors.

• Must drive safely, obeying all traffic rules and laws.

• Must ensure that all pallets being hauled are scanned correctly from one facility to the other.

• Must maintain cleanliness of truck and notify maintenance department of any mechanical issues that require attention.

• May need to work OT with minimal notification if emergency load is required at end of shift.  

• All other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have valid driver’s license with no prior DUI or DWI convictions.

• Must pass DOT physical

• Must have 2 or more years of relevant experience

• Must be able to lift / push/ pull equivalent of 40 lbs. 

• Must be Forklift Certified through ATC.

• Must be able to read, write and understand both verbal and written documents.

• Must be able to use scanner for making transfer of pallets systematically.
