Truck Servicer

What you will be doing:

The Irvine Distribution Center in Irvine, CA has an opening for a Maintenance Servicer in our Transportation Department.

• 
  

  Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



• Fueling and washing tractors and trailers, checking all fluid levels, checking all lights and tires.


• Changing Oil, Filters and tires, lubing equipment, BPM & APM services, and any other minor repairs which do not require a certified mechanic's knowledge.


• Tire Repair

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and high places


• Ability to stand, walk and work in close quarter, prone position for lengthy periods occasionally.

Operate heavy garage repair equipment.

• Exposure to potential hazards exist with respect to equipment, work areas, tools, welding equipment, presses and other power equipment.


• Working conditions consist of a non-temperature-controlled environment and exposure to outside elements while performing outdoor tasks on a daily basis.

  Ability to drive tractors and fuel tankers – CDL not required (Class C Required)

  Ability to service vehicles



• 
  

  Available for any shift



• 
  

  Prior tire repair experience preferred



• 
  

  Adherence, knowledge and understanding of Safe work practices.
