ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors food safety programs


• Perform inspections of carcasses


• Perform sampling procedures and record data


• Perform humane handling audits


• Monitor working environment


• Maintain daily records


• Collaborate with production and maintenance to implement food safety programs


• Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis


• Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to read, write and speak English


• Ability to prioritize tasks


• Basic computer skills

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Minimum 6 months experience in a production environment, preferably meat/food production


• Minimum 6 months experience in Quality Assurance
