Medical Assistant - Urgent Care

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures

- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization

- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and sanitary environment

- Administer injections and other basic clinical procedures under supervision

- Collect and document patient vital signs and medical histories

- Assist with patient intake, registration, and scheduling

- Ensure proper sterilization of medical instruments and equipment

- Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent preferred

- Prior experience in urgent care or outpatient setting is a plus

- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures

- Ability to perform injections and basic clinical tasks

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
