Duties:

• Patrol the Colorado Springs Lindstrom Clinic, following established routes and schedules to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Check identification, keycards, and badges at entry points, ensuring compliance with the clinic’s check-in procedures.
• Provide support during emergencies, including evacuations and lockdowns, maintaining communication with VA Police for guidance and assistance.
• Conduct regular inspections of smoking areas and enforce compliance, reporting any violations to VA Police.
• Prepare daily logs and incident reports, documenting rounds, visitor sign-ins, and any unusual occurrences.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of security or related experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and meet state security requirements in Colorado.
• Ability to remain calm and follow emergency procedures with professionalism, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
